BYU vs. UTAH

I lost a very bad bet. I'll talk more about this when I have some sort of sense in my brain.

The 4th Quarter

Well, I guess I'm suppose to tell you who I am now. It's all come down to the last seconds of the fourth quarter and this is it. Here's a little bit about me before the times out. I don't even play football, I never enjoyed playing it as much as watching it! I play lacrosse for Lone Peak and here in Utah it is one of the most under appreciated sports out there. Come out to some games this year and show us some support! I also love BYU with all my heart (Obviously). I've been raised since the day I was born a Coug and been by their side through every sport. My family and my entire extended family has all gone to BYU for college. Funny story is, I'm not even going there. I'm going to the University Of Utah (only because they have a better medical field there)! Now that the BYU football season as come to an end I think it's finally time I start to blog about some of my real writings I have and I hope you guys enjoy them( I'm sure you will enjoy them more then my football posts). It's the fourth quarter and the time is up. I am Carter Copeland

Solid Season For The Cougs!

What a fun game to watch!! Byu @ Utah State was one for the books and a great season ender to put the cougs at 9-3. This game looked close from the first quarter all the way until the last play of the second quarter when Laulile scooped up the fumble and brought it home for the half time putting the score at 24-21 with Byu in the lead. After that, all the momentum was with the cougs who looked very strong the entire rest of the game finishing up with a huge win of 51-28! Considering how many Injurys and honor code violations our team had this year, we still managed to have an incredible season! Any Cougar fan out there would agree with me that you can't complain about this year. Sure, it could of Maybe been a 11-1 kind of season and we would be in the top 25 for the nation. But, we had so much going against us and I'm proud of the way the guys managed to keep their heads up and kept pushing forward! Can't wait to see what bowl game we get put into!

8-3 Vs 3-8

Another solid win for the Cougs this week as they took on Fresno State. With this win BYU is now 8-3 for the season with only one more regular game left against Utah State. Tanner Mangum made the defense look silly as he threw touchdown after touchdown in every direction he chose. The Cougs defense also looked pretty solid holding Fresno to only 10 Points in the game. Considering all of the Injurys the Cougars have had this year, I'd say it's been a pretty solid one and fun to watch! Next week will be a good one, make sure to watch it!

Byu @ Missouri

Wow, 16 to 20! Seriously Cougs, come on! It looks like our team has gotten very lazy and forgot to practice this week because everything looked bad. Everything. The defense got run all over and couldn't stop a pass that my  10 year old brother could, the offense couldn't block for tanner who ended up taking a lot of sacks and fumbling too. This season hasn't been bad, I've had fun watching every week and enjoyed it even with two losses. But, this week did not cut it. We're better then that. Next week I expect to see some better results.

17-16

Well, a pretty stressful week for Byu fans as we watched San Jose State a school very few know almost Come back and beat us for the upset. Not sure why this game was so close? I mean, it is college football it never is as predictable as people think it should be, but 17-16? Come on Cougs! We're better then that!! Next week let's pick up the pace and have a good ball game!

No Byu Game?!

Well folks, the day has come. Byu has a bye this week and I'm sure you're all wondering, what is he gonna talk about now!? All he talks about is football?! Well, I decided I'll tell you why I only talk about football on my blog. The reason I only talk about football is because it's fun. It's a fun way to write about something every week that I enjoy and that anyone who likes football can enjoy too. I know a lot of people bounce around blog to blog looking for super deep meaningful messages that can burst them into tears. On my blog, you're not gonna get that, I'm sorry. I'm not trying to influence your entire life! I'm just trying to have a good time and talk about a great sport. So if you're fine with just reading a good little article about byu football every week come here! I hope you enjoy it!

70-6

I don't think I've EVER seen that many points be put up by a college football team since I was born! This score was with all second and third string players in too! What a fun game to watch, our running backs looked like they we're All Americans and our receivers were making catches that Odell Beckham Jr would be impressed with! Another great finish for the Cougs this week which will definitely boost their confidence for next weeks again! Also, how about them Utes losing to unranked USC! That dropped their ratings! sweet!! Go Cougs!

A Good W

Well, nothing too special for this weeks Byu Football other then a good solid win. Cincinnatti isn't the toughest of teams that's been faced this year for the cougs but hey, a wins a win and it never hurts to put another W up on the schedule right? Other news in football: gators had a devastating loss to Lsu who won on a nice trick play. Michigan's kicker has received hundreds of death threats from his fellow students for what you may call the biggest mistake of his career, and Utah takes another victory to put them up to #3 in the country, I can't wait to hear the fans boast about it..

Vs. East Carolina

Not too bad of a game for BYU, although a lot of sloppy plays were committed and a lot of useless turnovers and mistakes were made we managed to get the win. A lot of guys got hurt this game which isn't good for next week but maybe if they pray hard enough the lord will bless them to a speedy recovery! I didn't get to see too much of this game because of homecoming but all in all a wins a win and onto the next week!

Slow & Steady..

After last weeks embarrassing game against Michigan, it was good to see BYU finally home and having a good performance on the field. Tanner Mangum showed the world once again that he was a very special freshman. Through five games, Mangum has passed for 1,084 yards with more touchdowns then interceptions. The defense was also able to stop the run and have some pretty good wide receiver coverage. BYU looks like they are ready and back on their feet to take on East Carolina next weekend and I'm excited to watch it! Oh, and how about them gators?! Destroying #3 Mississippi, wow!

Byu@Michigan

We're not gonna talk about this one. If you have any social media at all I know you have already seen every single Utah fan in the world saying some sort of crap. I witnessed this game live and I am not happy. What the HE** happened

Don't let yourself become a robot. Don't fall into the same pattern every single day. Try new things, explore new places, meet new people! Have some fun with your life and do whatever you want to do, not what others want you to do. If you allow others to control you or if you fall into the exact same routine every day that you've been taught to live by you already are acting like a robot! This post is short and sweet. Don't let yourself become a robot.

Devastating Loss.

Well, let's just say that game was a disappointment for all Byu fans across the nation. Byu had such a strong start, with an early drive touchdown and a few incredible defensive plays to put Ucla down. By half time things looked bright for the cougs. They were receiving the ball and had a lead which everyone thought coming into the game that Byu wouldn't even be close with Ucla who would be completely controlling the score. Third quarter was a little tougher, but the cougars managed to keep the lead and keep on pushing for another touchdown. By fourth quarter though, everything went downhill. The offense couldn't make a push for a touchdown, the defensive couldn't stop a single run, and Ucla really turned on the boosters and pushed ahead of Byu. With just one final drive for the cougars on offense to take the win and just yards away from being able to put a field goal in. Tanner Mangum threw an interception and the game was over. What a bad day..

Did you konw taht you can siltl raed tihs eevn toguhh the lterts are all mxeid aonurd? You may look at this differently and question why that is? Our brains are taught at such a young age how to think and learn in just one single way. If you asked a very young child who didn't know too much about proper grammar and spelling with english they would probably speak that first sentence just how it was written! From a young age we are all molded into what our society like parents, teachers, and friends want us to become. We are taught what is "required" for us to know. But guess what, the people that become famous inventors, singers, artists, and rappers all have one thing in common, and that is that they are not common at all! They weren't afraid to be different than everyone else. They weren't afraid to be what They wanted to be! Learn to be different and unique, explore your talents and become what You want to become. Not what others want you to become!

BYU: Gods Team

If I had one word to sum up the BYU football season so far it would be..WOW. Honestly, if you can't see how god is on their side then you need to get your eyes checked. Week one, watch this:
Watch it over and over and over again. Now week two, watch this:

If you didn't have faith before, you now do. Go read the Book Of Mormon. I don't even have anything else to say. Just watch the videos. Can't wait for week three @Ucla GO COUGS!

I'd like my CrAYoNs back please.

Why as kids are we given crayons and paper and told to create whatever we want, and as soon as we become teenagers we're given a worksheet and a calculator and told to do exactly as told? Why are we taught creativity when we're young just to have it all stripped away as soon as we truly begin to learn how talented we are with our passions in life? The older I become, the more I am losing all the creativity I once had. I'm becoming a "grown up", but really i'm just a little kid trapped inside and older kid. I want to be able to bring my creativity back out. I'd like my CrAYoNs back please.

Learning to be Alone

Being alone is something every single one of us goes through at some point in our lives. It could be for a few days, or for a few months, the emptiness that comes with feeling alone is tough and I know personally how hard it can be. Walking through Lone Peak feeling invisible is one of the hardest things to go through. Seeing so many people smile and laugh and hang out with all of their friends can really make me down sometimes. But by looking for the positive instead of the negative can help out a lot. Realizing that you won't always feel this way and that it is a temporary situation helps to think about too. So keep your head up, life will go on and get better. Stay positive, work hard, study hard, and everything will fall into place.

Trying on Hats

Why do people wear hats? Is it because they like to represent a team or logo? Or is it so they can hide their face? I bet you think I am getting way too deep with this, but I'm serious! Hats are an object that represent so much more then something we place on our heads. Hats can be used to hide feelings, to hide emotions that we don't want to be shown. Behind that lid covering our eyes are a thousand words that are waiting to pour out of our mouths into the ears of others. We use this "hat" to hide those feelings deep down inside where nobody can feel them or hear them. Next time you see someone wearing a hat, try talking to them. Maybe they have something hidden away inside and just need someone to hear them out.

Introduction

I bet you are asking why I chose the name Timmy Tebow? Maybe it was because I looked up to him growing up? Maybe it was because I liked the Gators? No, I chose Timmy Tebow for a reason. If you don't know who Tim Tebow is i'll give you a brief background. Tim was a Qb for the Florida Gators that had a phenomenal College Career and had such high potential for the NFL but never was able to live up to it. I bet you're looking at this saying well why am I wasting my time if his posts are not going to live up to their potential? Well that's where I want to be different then Tim. I want you to come to my blog and read my writings because you enjoy them. I want you to come back every day looking for something new from me. I'm not writing this to just get another letter grade in another class, i'm writing this to impact you and show you how I see the world around me.
